I thought by 1952 they had the pump inside the bottle. Comments?0

I hada 54 Hollywood that was an internal pump too, but original.. I have no clue0

Dan, They came in several versions. As is everything Hudson they did not have a hard and fast rule when it came to accessories. The pump pictured above is certainly correct for your car. However there were at least two other variations on that theme. One was a ' pickle' jar in which the lid was about the same size as the base with a brass pump and a brass hole cover. The other was a similar jar with a smaller filler hole and a plastic pump. All were made by Trico and all will work and be authentic for your car. All the washer jar holders will interchange for Trico jars no matter the style of jar used on your Hudson. Essentially Hudson used what Trico had available at the time.0

You're correct and the bottle was round. However, they all work the same. If you drove your Hudson into a dealer back in the day and asked for a washer to be installed, you got what he had on the shelf. Basically, they're all correct when you look at it that way. Hope that helps.0 -
FYI
I am glad to see a round Washer Bottle and know that it could be any shape the Dealer had in stock...
I just bought a nice round bottle at Pittsburgh Parts-a-Rama Swap Meet (for a price too low to mention).0 -
Some older bottles were square and the newer ones round. People got what the dealer or parts stores had on had. Who would be goofy enough to ask for the latest model of a washer bottle. Over the years, washer bottles were made by Trico, Anco and others.0

anyone kno wwhere to get the decal? repro?0

Someone is reproing them. I've seen a few on eBay from time to time.0

I just heard back from K-Gap and they said that if someone has a good photo or an original, they could have them made. I was able to pick up a pristine washer bottle on e-bay, so all I need is the decal. Any volunteers with a good camera willing to forward a photo to K-Gap?0
