FYI- I just listed two of my project Hornet coupes on e-bay. I am making room for another pending Hudson purchase. No frame rust on these. Feel free to have a fellow club member check them out in person. I'm in the Los Angeles area. I can be reached at (310)502-5335 if you have any questions. Need the room! Niels

hmmm, wonder if he sold my '39 H6 conv.?

Notice last time listed he'd dropped the price & seemingly ended the listing a few days after put in so maybe he found a buyer.

    NO KIDDING!

Niels ~ Where where you when I bought my 49 4 years ago

    :D

If diesel wasn't so expensive and I didn't have 2 Hudson and 2 Dump Truck projects already....
  • Thanks- I honestly need the room. If I break even or make enough to buy a six pack then cool.

I'm finally getting my 52 Hornet Coupe coming from Idaho in about a month. I got tired of waiting for completion. Has a documented factory 7X engine that I bought from John Soneff. Has about 3,000 miles on a rebuild. Has newly rebuilt three speed with OD and new clutch. Complete new brake system, new heavy duty radiator, gas tank resealed, front end rebuilt. Will have the paint, stainless, chrome and new interior farmed out when it arrives here in So Cal. I figure about another 12 to 15K worth of work. Should be a special car when done.
  • Yup those are pretty low prices for what are both rare, solid restorable cars. You won't see many like this in the future. If I hadn't added three more Hudsons to my garage I would be down hitting the BIN's on these no questions asked. Good job giving up some decent projects.
  • Come on Sean, don't you have it in your heart to save a few more Hudsons? Don't forget to ask for the discount code for club and forum members? LOL
  • FYI- I ended the auction early and sold both cars to a club member in AZ. They are going to a good home.
