Is that a Hudson pickup I see there ?
As well as my passion for Hudsons, I have a couple other makes in my favorites list as well, namely the '53 Buick Skylark, and the '53 Packard Carribean.
Since I have one of these, when the '53 Hornet Convertible came up on ebay awhile back I watched it very carefully until it sold, and like most others was surprised at the $100,000.00 bill it went for, but so be it, if that's what somebody is willing to pay for a particular car, who am I to judge its worth.
However, a couple weeks or so later, the same Guy that sold the Hudson Convert. then picked up a '53 Packard Caribbean on ebay for $31,665.00.
( item # 200228944752 ).
Well, lo and behold, that same Caribbean is now back on ebay for sale again, this time under the new owner ( the same Guy who sold the Hudson ).
( I can't seem to get the url in here so its ebay item #270253889406 )
Looks like maybe the fellow did so well with the Hudson, he's becoming a bit of a dealer in these specialty makes
but that's not what I'm on about here. If you look closely at the pictures of the Caribbean, you'll see what appears to be a Hudson pickup beside and behind it ! Could this be an "undiscovered" Hudson ?? Highly unlikely --- but one can wonder?
I betcha if its for sale though, the price will be high, or it'll test the market on ebay, 'cause this fellow's doing pretty good with his wheelin' and dealin'.
( "Guess I'm just jealous" - he's playing around with some cars I can only dream about !!)
