More from Independent's Day.
Just a few more shots of vehicles from American Independent's Display Day down Under, we as a small club also include Rambler cars in our club, as a lot of younger guys are more interested in them than the older cars. Our club is now known as "Hudson A.M.C. Car Club Australia Inc."
Previous name.
"Hudson-Essex-Terraplane-Nash-Rambler Car Club of New South Wales Inc."

Was a great day, better than I thought it would be, BUT, will be BIGGER AND BETTER next year we have 12 months to plan for it, plenty of advertising between clubs, I'm sure those who attended will go and tell their friends and hopefully they will attend next year.0

Some nice shots and I , of course, like the 112 especially as that's the colour I'm thinking of painting mine!0

Les, I think it's wise that your group includes the AMC cars. It makes for larger gatherings (and more members). Three of us HET members here in Las Vegas also belong to the local AMC club. They were happy to have me join even though my Hudson predated AMC by a couple years.0 -
Thanks Matt for your comments re A.M.C. Vehicles.
We find that if we do not include A.M.C. vehicles the club does not grow, as nearly all the HET products here in Aust already belong to members, a few pop their heads up on occasions, but rarely do we find too many, not like you guys in the U.S.A. Our members over the years have imported quite a few Hudson's from the U.S. including a few Ramblers
Of interest, my father purchased a fully imported 1958 Hudson Rambler, this vehicle had both names on the car, so , it is only natural that we include A.M.C. vehicles in our club.
I own both a Hudson & a Rambler.
There is a Chrysler club here in Australia that is now letting owners with Hudson motor vehicles join their club as Chrysler own the name "HUDSON".0 -
Les is being typically modest in not mentioning his own car, which is the exquisite silver-grey '42 Brougham appearing in some shots. :cool:0
