I have solid '52 Commodore Six Coupe with 262 engine and overdrive transmission that I would like to sell to some young buck who has the vim and vigor to resore it. I bought the car over 30 years ago from John Soneff, with intentions of restoring it. Other Hudsons got in front of it, however. I'm sure y'all know this is an extremely rare car. It is in need of a total restoration, but highly worth it. I'll sell just the car, or the car and all the parts I've gathered for it over the years. If you have ideas of putting some off-brand engine in this car, please don't contact me. I'd rather let it rot. I have pictures. Email me at arkiejazz@aol.com for details. And if it's not allowed to mention cars for sale on here, I apologize.:)

After looking at the pictures, I was surprised to note the tail lights. The rear trim is the same as SuperWasp, not Hornet. The 51 Commodores had the same trim as Hornet. learn sumpthin' every day!

Dave, first off, there was no Super Wasp until 1953. But you're right, the '52 C6 used lots of Wasp trim. It also used the Wasp interior appointments including upholstery fabric. The '52 C6 line of cars had the full size of the Hornet without all the extra glitter. A very tasteful car, at least in my eyes.:)
  • The Commodore has been adopted by Dr.Doug. I feel like it's going to be in good hands. Thanks for all the inquiries.:)
