I received my WTN here in west Michigan this after noon. Another great job. Leaving Sunday for the national, and looking forward to seeing everyone.

Mine got here just a couple minutes ago. Can't wait to read it...I think my Uncle Bill did a good job with the cover photo. Thank you Sam and Mary Ann!0

The WTN arrived here thursday and with a nice suprise or my 37 Hudson pictured, thanks to Vern.
It is really impersive that the regional meets held just last month are in this issue. Job well done to all who contributed!0 -
Maybe mine will get here before I leave for the National on Sunday - if I can hold off reading it I can take it with me as "motel" reading on the way north!!!
Already got a book to read on the road - "Driving With The Devil - Southern Moonshine, Detroit Wheels and The Birth of NASCAR Looks a pretty good read - and, yes, Hudson is mentioned in the book.
See y'all on the road. (I'll have copies of my handbook for sale - and some CD's too).

Other than the author put a V-8 in the Hudsons, I thought it was a great book. Seemed well researched and really painted a very good picture of life in Appalachia during the depression.
Tracing the history of moonshine from the middle east, BC, was a neat touch, too.
It got me to thinking - the author is correct in the observation that the current NASCAR hierachy has done all it can to continue Big Bill Frances efforts to bury the 1930's and 1940's fun and games. Those were great racing days and not much is known about it. Until this book came out.
