More 2009 National questions

Where is the closest airport to the the National site? I will probably fly into Chicago-OHare then into a puddle jumper. Your help is appreciated thanks Lou Cote :cool:

    A couple of choices: Detroit Metro-about 43 miles and 48 minutes from hotel or Flint Bishop International Airport about 42 miles and 40 minutes from the hotel. Advantages of Metro is more flights to choose from, larger airport, more car rentals-disadvantage, very large, it will take more time to get your car or transportation and MUCH more traffic. Advantage of Flint, small and car rentals are just steps from the terminal, less than 1/2 mile off I-75, very little traffic-disadvantages are less flights go into Flint.
