Parts wanted

The restoration of the '53 Convert. has begun, and while I am just in the disassembly stage at present, I am beginning to see clearly which parts coming off are best to restore, and which should be replaced.



For starters, I think I'll look for some NOS or at least pit-free original fender rockets, and pork chops. I do have a couple of the repro pork chops from Bill, and will use them if need be, but like him, I prefer the original items if I can find them. My goal with this car is to keep it as all original Hudson as possible.



Does anyone out there know who might have some of these they'd part with ? If a trade for some other parts is preferred over a straight cash transaction, I"ve got quite a bit of stuff for stepdowns '52-'54.

    I've got a pretty magnificent '53 hood that is about as nice as you'll ever find, in OK. Need it? Let me know.

    Thanks Patrick, my car will probably need a hood, because its rusted through in one corner like a lot of them do, but I think I'm covered in that department with stuff I've got around here.
