  • Hi Hudson Dave here . I have a 39 front end under my hot rod I went to Car Quest gave them the old W/C they looked in the book and I bought new ones for about $20.00 . If you take the W/C to NAPA they sell the Kits for both:)

    Hi Hudson Dave,

Thanks for this. I should have qualified my question though - I'm based in the UK.

I can get kits via the Railton Owners Club but they will only sell to members which in effect doubles the price and I don't really want to restart my membership just for that - I'm happy just to be in the HET.

I've looked at Kanter but they want to sell everything when all I really want is just the boots , inserts etc.
  • I sell Master Cylinders new in box for $50 each + actual shipping from Post office the shipping weight is 4.5lbs.

Thanks for this. They only seem to go to 1950 in their catalog but I've sent them an email to see if they can help at all.

Does anyone have numbers I could be using to try and get a match for these at all?

    Hi thank you for this.

I'll keep this in mind in case I can't get a kit or I need to actually replace the cylinder.

All part numbers are Raybestos and are stocked by Rock Auto.

Wheel Cylinder Kit (1" bore) WK21

Master Cylinder Kit (1" bore) MK2

Wheel Cylinder WC7563 and WC7564 (These have angled hose connections. I thought they were suppose to be straight in. Check).

    Master Cylinder MC4360

Thank you very much indeed for this - I appreciate your time and help.

I had spoken to Rock Auto and they couldn't help me - at least now I can go back with some detailed information.
