Thanks for the pictures. That's a nice looking car you've got there - enjoy it!0

wow that's a sharp lil original Hudson-Terraplane coupe there. I might have to re-examine paying more attention to the '38 model year.0
-
yes I am quite pleased with it. I have a few other coupes so it is a nice addition in my garage.

The pics I posted reference the auction site & won't be available more than a month or two so enjoy them while you can.
As Aaron says it's a very nice coupe.
Trevor, if I'd had the spare cash you'd have had competition for it!!! Enjoy it.
You coming to McLeans Island swap meet this year? How about bringing it up?0 -
yes I will be there.
I have had a stall there for many years.
I was very supprised that no one bid on this car I thought it would have been quite sort after.
Oh well you have to have some luck.

beautiful car! Enjoy it! And, it's your responsibility to accumulate all the mileage that it lacked while simply sitting there in a museum....0

What a beautiful looking car!
I love the paint job - perfect sheen, and looks nearly original (could it be?)
I'd take and right click on those pictures and save them to your local hard drive - AND take hundreds more so that you can keep documentation on what you do.
So what's the story behind this one, how did you find it?0 -
Is the Ford Truck R.H.D. ?0
-
The car was for sale on a NewZealand site called Trade me. The auction ran its course but did not reach its reserve..
I contacted the owners some time later found it was not sold and was able to do a deal. It looks good beside my 37 coupe.
The Ford Truck I brought new and it is right hand drive. Not as well speced as the USA ones but still a good pickup. 2003 model.

Ive got to search its h istory a little more but I am led to believe that I will be the third owner0

Super nice coupe, I see the cylinder head does not have the name TERRAPLANE in large letters was this for export only? just curious. Thanks for the pictures it looks like it has the original stone guards that hang down low Chuck G0

My 36 and 37 Teraplane coupes have the large lettering Im not sure what the go is with the 38s. More research needed.

I think the lack of "Terraplane" in large letters on the '38 is due to the fact that in 1938 the car was a "Hudson Terraplane". For some reason the grand old company decided that all products from 1938 into the future would only be "HUDSONS"
