:DTook my '37 Terraplane for a short short ride after adjusting the clutch and changing the fluid. Distance travelled about twenty feet and the clutch gave up. Hopefully I can get this apart, order and recieve replacement parts and reinstall in a couple weeks, We have a couple parades coming up and a meet, and I plan on taking the Terraplane out a few times before the winter sets in, Wish me luck, thanks, Arnie

  • I'm wishing you luck and success on your clutch endeavor, Man.

And part of my wishing is really my selfishness in knowing my '36 aint too far behind you in needing the same operation.

Please keep us informed on how it goes...slim

:)Thanks Slim, I guess things like a worn clutch happens to seventy plus year old cars. Any way I will let my progrees on the project be known. Hopefully I can begin in a few hours, I have to get the seats back in my '49 sedan and move it out of the shop first to make room for the Terraplane. Have a great day. Arnie
