Got the new roster on Wednesday, great job, lots of work went into it. Now I just need to type my info next time, thought my printing was good. Has me driving an Eight with six cylinders, and down graded to a cond 4. Oh well, I know that there was a ton of work that went into it.

Thank you for all the time spent making this for us all! :)

I received the cover sheet with my mailing address. I guess the Mailman (person) has the roster!

Lance I appreciate the spirit in which you communicated the errors. The people who went to all the work, will appreciate your comments. Lets hope the roster is not profitic, if an eight was only running on 6 would that make it a 4?

lol, well I know that it's not 2+2. Maybe a 2+8 in back. I don't think it's profitic, just me maybe. Always a great source to have.

Vic, Drop Charlotte an email - as soon as she gets copies from the printer she'll replace it.

I got the cover sheet and the supplement - guess, like yours, the Pony Express horse ate the rest!!! LOL

Yup, got a little plastic bag with a hole in one end (seal broke ?), a cover sheet with my name and address on it, and the supplement too. Must be something 'going around'. LOL!

Got my old roster so I am not in any real 'big' hurry, although I would like to give the new one a good 'going over'.
  • Not as much as cover sheet here. May next week.

I received the whole package, roster, supplement, etc. There are always errors in publications like this and it is really a thankless job trying to coordinate all of the information. All in all, it is a very useful document and most of it is correct. We did receive notice that the supplement has the wrong dates blocked out for the 2009 National Meet on the calendar printed in back. Our great thanks to the volunteers in the club who took on this effort. It is a very big job.

I was excited to see that the new register is almost 1/4" thicker than the previous roster, showing just how much growth the club has had!

See, that proves my point - several missing here in the states, but seem to be going overseas no problem.

Difference?? Here in the states they are being delivered by pony express - as I said, horses eating the rosters!!! :D

Got mine today and in good condition, which was a surprise. I receive a racing paper and most of the time it looks like the whole post office read it before I get it. Great job and thanks to the persons that got it printed. Walt Mordenti.

:):cool:Recieved mine a few days ago, arrived in great shape. Thanks to all that worked so hard on it. Arnie
  • Got the Canadian edition (eh?) a couple of days ago. Interesting thing, I had no idea there were as many Canadians (and in Ontario) with Hudsons. Cool, people to hang out with! Fantastic job putting the roster together!!
  • I have yet to receive my Roster. I have been a member for over one year now (Yes I have paid my membership) and I still do not have the most coveted item any member has. Who do I contact? I believe I have been patient (a normal downfall of mine).

PS - Regards being patient, remember this saying - "In any group or organization of more than 3 people all laws (Murphy's, Aardvarks, etc) will guarantee at least a 5% to 10% screw up factor."

I've been a member for 21 years and edit the WTN, and I haven't received mine yet either. Apparently there was a problem with the packaging. There are plenty of extras, so contact Charlotte and she'll send you one. I try (usually successfully, since I are one), to remember that everything in the Club is done by volunteers. Hang in there...we're glad you're with us!

  • Great Job Folks, I Put Mine Side By Side To The Last One. I Would Say Thats Twice As Thick, Strong Club For Sure And The Best . Dermott.:)
  • Sam-

I just was getting jealous of everyone who already had theirs and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I am very appreciative of all the hard work the volunteers do and know how much we reap what they toil over.

Bill Albright signed me up and I am forever grateful that I found this great group of people to share ideas with and gain much needed knowledge.

    Hudsonly,

    Todd
