Thank you Victor, I had just commented to a fellow HETer two days ago that someone should start an indexing project for the WTN. So glad to have found this.

What a resource!!!!!!!!! And a great base to start a comprehensive index.

    Jim,

I'll look at this for a project - if no one else puts it on-line, or the original author's don't object, I may be able to put it on my site. But from the looks of it, gonna take a while to do it.

I'm trying to decided what would be the best format - the way it is, or maybe list the article title, author (where provided), year, issue number (retaining the 4 column format, just moving the columns around.)

  • Alex I would think the way it is would work fine , all that need to be added is the link to the article once they are all on a site somewhere. It would be a fairly ambitious task to scan them all however.

Not much worse than the parts catalogs I've done (48-48 and 1940) and the 1937 one I'm currently working on.

    We'll think on it.

Complete issues from Jan/Feb 2004 are stored on disk in the Club Library. :D

For the moment the index will remain on the SoCal website as the index remains a work in progress.

There will be, however, a link to that site on my web site.

Work is continuing on the index. The 2008 WTN information has been added and a couple of early issues have been filled in.:)

We attended the 2009 National HET Meet (http://socalhet.org/09_het_meet/index.htm) this summer. Thanks to Ed Wright of Colorado, we were able to add a few more items to the WTN index and the Hudsonotes collection (http://socalhet.org/) and fill in the first half of 2009.
