Am in need of at least one stoplight lens. Does not need to be new, just not any cracks, for 1954 Hornet.

Dave:
The stress cracks in the 54 tail light lensesare an artifact of the way the lenses and the housing were designed. The three small screws used to hold the lenses to the housing cause the cracking. Hudson put out a service note in an early 54 or late 53 Hudson Merchandiser which tells dealers to replace the foam lenses seal with a thicker seal ( meant to tighten the lenses to housing interface before the screw bottoms out in the lenses). The article also comments on making sure the screws are not tightened to the point of cracking the lenses. In my experience, I have replaced the foam seal and used shorter screws which eliminated future cracks in the replacement lenses.

KGAP is the problem. I can't even get them to ship me a hoodlace and the "S" rubber for the doors.
Ken:
These are just old and cracked from the Sun, and probably screwing them a little tight. One has got a hole in it that you can put your finger through.0
