54 Hornet wiring
On our 54 Hornet there is 2 wires comming out of the steering columm one
for the horn and one that comes from the quadrant that tells what gear you are in at night . Where do I plug this wire into to get power to light up the
bulb on the quadrant to tell what gear I am in .The car has a hydra matic.
thanks duncan

Duncan, on my wasp which I just converted to automatic there was a wire just stubbed out of the firewall right beside the main harness and not connected. It had a fitting on it for a male bullet type connector to plug into. This wire is hot when the lights are on so I used it for the wire coming down through the steering column for the shift indicator light.0
