This looks like it could be a great deal. I've got one project too many to take this one. Someone should check into it closer...

Yes, why do I have all these other projects invested???

This is a good looking deal - even if it's rusty underneath the...

I know this car well. It belonged to Al Lichtenstein who died in a tragic accident involving one of his Hudsons about 4 years ago. His widow Jan is finally selling it. Al had everything done to complete the car (chrome, top etc...). Everything was painted (except hood), and it was truly rust free. The parts were all bagged and inventoried. I know he had close to $30k into before his death. Somebody here needs to get this car ASAP. It just needs to be assembled. Jan can't afford to keep paying storage anymore. I live in Colorado now (plus I'm broke), so I can only dream about it. This IS the deal not to pass up.

I hope she knows and was OK with selling it cheap - I hate to see people taken advantage of.

I hope a HET person got it and it doesn't show up on Ebay with a starting bid of 35k...

The car did end up in the hands of a club member in NJ. He currently has a bunch of 37's. I don't know the man, but I'm sure it is in good hands.

Rest easy, folks. The new owner is Henry Barbera, H-E-T'er from New Jersey. He's an avid Hudson fan and he'll do this one up right. This is his first StepDown, up til now he's been an exclusively "praying mantis" ('37) owner like me!
