Need Everyone's Help - Vote for a Hudson (a different one)

Hi all,
My brother Matt and I need your help. We've entered our dad's 49 Brougham in the Texaco Car of the Decades Contest. Best part is . . . we didn't tell him He's going to find out as he reads this (So Dad, umm. . . surprise!).
Voting has been going on since early September and it ends October 3 @ 7PM ET. Everyone on the internet is allowed to vote for their favorite car for each decade. We're the ONLY Hudson in the whole competition. Unfortunately, it's easy to sway votes. If a person is bored and wants to register 50 different email accounts, they can vote for themselves 50 times (I think that's happening in my class but not sure).
So we need your help! It does require a very simple registration process for each unique email address, but it doesn't ask for any personal info (address, telephone, etc.).
I only ask that you spread the word like wildfire (email club members, relatives, strangers you've met on the street corners
) and try not to vote until the end of the competition. It's like an Ebay Auction (unfortunately). You know everyone is going to be piling on votes at the end and watching to see who's ahead. I think the website could get a little slow with everyone voting so you might not want to wait until the very very end.
Go here: http://texacocarofthedecades.com, register your email, and then rate the Hudson a 10. There are some really neat cars in all the classes.
Thank you all for your help. I apologize for the novel of a post. Thanks to those that have already voted and left some comments on the website.
Hudsonly,
Greg

Greg and Matt, what a great surprise, and good idea,I also have entered my car in the http://texacocarofthedecades.com 1970's class and have given you a big 10 in the 1940's class. If it would not be to much out of line to ask, could I get some votes for my 1970 Chevy Chevelle (blew by you)I did post a request in the forums here but did not get the tremendous response you have.Thank you very much and good luck in the contest, I will tell my friends and family to vote for you as well.0

Hi everyone,
I'd like to thank you all for your votes, help, and wonderful comments. My dad was completely surprised. He read about it on the forum yesterday afternoon and called me and my brother up.
At the moment, we have a tiny lead but I don't expect it to last. Every time we go up, the 42 Ford comes back with a bunch of votes. Of course, he doesn't have all the nice comments under his car. So if you can, hold off on your votes until the very end. Don't worry if you have or want to vote sooner.
Talk about a long 7 days! I'm embarrassed to admit how often I keep going to that website to check.
Thanks again.
Hudsonly,

Wow...we really blew past that '42 Ford Street Rod...no surprise there I guess.0

Beautiful Hudson; I voted... I was lucky to have owned two brouhams...0

Well folks, there is one more day to vote and the 48 hudson is behind by about 70 10 point votes. I've exhausted my email accounts. With all the people who use this site, hopefully we can get this car across the finish line, ahead of a modified 40's Ford.
I don't even know whose car this is, but certainly the 1948 hudson was an exceptional car in terms of style and engineering for the times immediately after the war.
Please register and vote, "Doc Hudson" would be proud.
