Any of y'all out there have any buddies interested in Pierce-Arrows? I just came across a bunch of Technical sheets and indexes all for PA's. If it was Hudson stuff, I'd be contacting Alex, but not sure where to go for Pierce's. Thought I'd check here first to see if I could get any leads.

    Russell;

    Try Dave Stevens here in Michigan. He has several Hudsons and a Pierce. He was also involved in opening the Pierce Arrow museum in Hickory Corners Michigan.

    Email is davenstevens@msn.com. Or phone 231-894-2281.

    Gene.

    Thank you so much! I sent an e-mail . . . we'll see what happens.
  • Short answer - contact Leon Garoyan, mracon@cal.net. Long time Pierce Arrow enthusiast, involved in National club activities.

    Long Answer - Yesterday I met a very friendly fellow with a long involvement in PA restorations out here in CA. On the way home from the All Calif meet, we had to stop at a quilt fabric store (you know, the equal time thing for the Mrs) and a fellow walked over to eyeball the Hornet, saying "Hudson never should have gone under....." After I pressed him for his interests, it turned out he enjoyed Pierce Arrows and Bentleys, and he let on he'd be one of the judges at the 2009 Pierce Arrow national met in San Diego. I'm sure he could find a proper home for those documents. Leon Garoyan, mracon@cal.net.

    I'll contact him. Dave Stevens from the first post also turned out to be a good source of info. What I have is Index tech sheets and Service Bulletins from '59 to '80. According to Dave, the Pierce Arrow Society, PAS is still quite active and have all of these documents available to members from their library for a modest fee, similar to the HET library. So, what I have turns out to still be readily available. I wasn't so much thinking of a valuable find, as I was an invaluable amount of technical information for the individual who needed it and couldn't get it. Turns out, that's just not the case.

    Apparently, restoring PA's might just be as easy as far as information goes as Hudsons are. Wonder if the PA people are as nice as the Hudson folks?

    I know they don't have a forum like ours, that's for sure.
