Source this database for more NAPA #'s!
Hey fellow Huddies,
The numbers that mars55 put out a while back for 36T NAPA wheel cylinders
(9025, & 9026) worked like a charm! (THANKS by the way.)
Now lets see if theres some more numbers out there for me. (1). looking for the foot operated dimmer switch for the headlights #. (2). Looking for U-joints #
and (3). maybe a king pin set#. My local NAPA guys are great at getting parts especially when I have a good number to work with. Any help is as always greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
TerraJeff

I find the Hudson master parts manual to be a good, ready source of part number info.0

Try NAPA 10153 for the u-joints. Ford station wagons and pickups in the fifties and sixties used the same one, as did '55-'70 Chevies. This u-joint is still popular in industrial driveshaft applications.0

Park has it right for U-joints. For a dimmer switch try a Standard DS52 or NAPA DS108. This is '38 or '56 Hudson. The other choice is Standard DS40 or NAPA DS101. This is '39 to '55 Hudson.
To see what these switches look like, go to this site and enter DS52 or DS40 in the Search Box and click "Search".

Paul, Louis's manual is my primary reference, and although it's quite old now, I've entered updated info in my copy whenever I've gotten it. Is someone on that web site keeping the original manual updated?0

Thanks, Paul. Nope, no one ever told me about this manual.
Park, I wish I had a copy of your "updated" manual. I'm sure there are a lot of us "new" guys that have not seen this before.0 -

I wasn't aware of it either. Thanks so much.
Making the updated one available sure would be great too.0 -
Hey all,
WoW that manual is AWESOME! Thanks to Louis and everyone who has contributed and to Paul for posting it. Should be very helpful.
