    Niels, I'm curious.

You say you already have one of these models? If so, by any chance is it stamped "HADSA" on the underside?
  • Remember when you could find a running, driving Hudson for that money???

    Jon,

I looked and there is no stamping or markings on the car. However, the box says it is made by a company called "Modern Toys" in Japan. Now that I think about it, I think I'll do alittle research on the internet and see what I can find out.

P.S.- I wonder if "HADSA" means "Hudson" in Japanese?

The price right now is about $100.00 per inch (7.85 inches long).

At 208 inches for a (real) Hudson Hornet or Commodore, that is comparable to $20,800.00.

For that you could get a rather nice (real) Hudson at that price that you could drive in style.

That's a scary thought, isn't it? In other words, the Hudson models are for those who already have everything they want, I guess.

More likely, for those who can't afford the real thing. Either way, a car enthusiast is a car enthusiast.
  • Wow...I didn't pay that much for my first real Hudson...Bob
