7X Exhaust Routing?

I'm looking at adding an exhaust cutout to my existing system. Question: On a period correct 7X race car, where would the exhaust exit? (I know somewhere's under the rocker panel around the passenger door.) I may have to check out my "Cars" DVD again....

    they were run out, side by side, all the way to the back.

    OldHudsons, Were they side by side or one over the top of the other? Did they have chrome tips, or pointing down, or something other? Thanks

    If I'm not mistaken, Ivan's Z's exhaust is out the passenger side?

    yes, the headers run out the right side of the car - have to get a good pipe bender to make the run, fit right, not rattle, & have proper clearance.

    The factory offered several different types of exh. pipe "tips" but to put those on properly aligned duals coming back, you'd have to use "pencil tips" (rather small in diameter & round).
