I was at the auction. The car was repainted, the leather had been died a bright red, and by the vin number the car was a six cyl with an eight cyl replacement. So now you tell me, when is original, really original.

Ed: Looks like the jet convertible frame is coming along. Going to have it ready by the nationals?
  • It is irritating (not to mention dishonest) when people lie about a vehicle. Pretty hard to misunderstand what "original" means. A car dealer, auction house or private individual should be held accountable for misrepresentation.

Russ, the Jet is moving with the national in site. I will start a new thread here shortly to give a little update. Ed

Thanks for your post. I put the cars picture and information on this site as posted on the Auction site. Too bad the car is not as reported.
