And I'll go even further - Entire engine & transmission! (Looks to be an automatic...).

Only one state away. I'm in Maryland. If I could get just the engine/trans, I might seriously consider it. About 40 miles south of DC...

Get it get it get it! Part out the what you don't want.:)

    Would that engine be a 308 or a 202?

Should be the 308, and certainly doesn't look like a 202 in the pics. 202 was used in the Wasps, as they were based on a shorter wheelbase Nash and didn't have room for the 232/262/308 engines.

I'm still a newcomer, but the picture of the engine seems to reveal head bolts, I thought after '54 the 308's had studs.

    R/ Roger.

The pictures for this car indicate a 308. The car will have a closed drive line and to get the engine out you will have to break the trans from the driveline. The 56 engine is based on the last Hudson update from the 308 which includes hydralic lifters. The driveline would definately be a great start for an engine rebuild. The twin H varient has the balance tube cast into the intake manifold.

    Cheers
