The following is a link to the eBay store of a literature dealer who has 100s of pieces of orginal Hudson literature For Sale. I have no connection to the seller... thought this might be a good place for those who want or need original literature might find same. What I saw was over 700 items... 20-50s Happy Hunting

Yes, Auto-Lit does have a lot of great Hudson literature - unfortunately, at least for me, the prices are way out of my reach on most of the stuff. Like for example a 1952 Hudson ORIGINAL Shop Repair Manual for $65 - I just bought a 1950 shop manual in good condition for $25. And a 1920 Hudson Super Six Models 10O to 12O Chassis & Body for $200!!! I got one, not in as good shape granted, from a club member for less than $20 - it's on Greggs web site. And it is the same as the one Auto Lit has for sale.

And it's to bad, really. I know a lot of people can't afford these prices. There's a lot of it I'd like to see on-line. But I guess people will pay these prices to get the original if they have the car.

In years past I have come across dealers at flea markets with Hudson literature priced way above what it really worth and they are crying because nobody will buy their offerings. I once picked up a box of around 50 Hudson, et al, ads from a dealer for something like $15 for the box because he was so ticked off that nobody was buying his $5 and up ads. He just got tired of lugging them around to auto shows and flea markets. This was, by the way, back in the 1970's when most ads were in the 50 cent to $1.50 range. But he figured he had something rare and scarce so he was justified in his higher prices.

Anyway, everybody have a great holiday season.

Have to agree with Alex, the guy is over priced, or WAY over priced on almost everything.

I have an extensive collection of HET literature I began amassing during the years I was the HET Treasurer approx. 35 - 40 years ago. I have 2 members who've expressed an interest in buying me out in toto but as yet received no offer. I now have it in a Word program from long-hand notes so if any of you might be interested send me an e-mail & I'll attach the list in response.

If I have not sold it as one lot I may bring all or as much as I can to the '09 National depending on the disposition of my parts.
