Stepdown Thermostat Question
I have a 1948 Super Six with the 262. I just pulled the thermostat housing and lo and behold it had no Thermostat in it. I have an old NOS Thermostat still in the original box reading part # 307952 but I have no idea if this is the correct one. If these are still available new I would love to know where to buy a new one. Thanks for your help. Finn

If by new you mean NOS, you can find them at swap meets and on eBay. Your stat is rated at 165-170 degrees and fits 1C, 2C, 1D, 2D, and 3D models.0
