Did anyone watch Cold Case on CBS on 12/06/08? Hudson received a decent mention there. The investigator was shown a picture of the family of a murdered woman by the woman's son; a 1930 Hudson was the backdrop. The investigator asked if the car was a Hudson, and the son replied that it was the family's 1930 Hudson purchased in that year for $600. The investigator remarked that he had seen a 1930 Hudson at a classic car show a few years back and that that car was valued at $40,000. The car figured prominently at the end of the show when it was proven that the car had no radio and that the murderer had to have heard a broadcast in the house. That broadcast was a key point in the investigation. I am sure that episode will be rerun next summer sometime.

    I caught the photo of the Hudson at the end, when they indicated that 1930's cars had no radios. The radio broadcast that they were referring to was the famous Martian invasion by H. G. Wells.

    I was watching a movie with Denzel Washington in it and I think he was driving a 47 Commodore in the movie. I don't know the name of the movie but he was trying to track down some lady and was based in the late 40's or early 50's. I think the movie was named Devil in a blue dress.
