:)For several years I had heard of a '52 Hudson Hornet Convertible sitting in a contractors yard, but never seen. This past Saturday at our chapter's Christmas Party, I met the gentleman who is bringing the car back to life. He has come along way with it and looks to benearly done. It was great looking at the pictures of the car, it is an eye catcher. What surprises me is that here in Nevada the Hudson was not a real popular car and the ones and the ones that did sell, most people drove into the ground. The population has grown and so havs the Hudsons. To make a long story short, there are four '53 Hornet Convertibles, one '47 Convertible and two '52 Hornet convertibles in the state that I know of. I am sure that most have been brought in from other states. It isw always nice to see another Hudson on the road. Stay warm. Arnie in Nevada

Dio they belong to club members? I took over the stepdown convertible registry and there are only 3 convertibles, one 1952 and two 1953 listed in Nevada. See if you can get me information on them. Serial number and owner's name. Thanks

One '52 Hornet Convertible is the one that Bill A. just mentioned, and two '53's are in private collections, one in Carson City and the other in Las Vegas. Arnie
  • Aren't '53 Convertibles supposed to be super rare?

'52's and '53 Hornets have about the same rarity. Last Roster listed 13 of each. I figure there's about 20 of each year left.:(
