Thursday afternoon I got a quick glimps of a bright green stepdown four door. Commodore or Hornet..Just caught a rear view. Going West on Aurora Rd in Melbourne Fl. Nice looking car! Who Dat?

For a long time, I've had the only Hudson in the neighborhood. :D

  • SuperDave,
There's a 53 Super Wasp Sedan, maroon and cream over in Winter Haven, Lakeland now. Not really your neighborhood, but close enough we may cross paths. Gonna get over to Kissimmee soon as I can.

    SuperDave,

Did you happen to be driving your Hudson at the time?

No , Darn it! I was driving my Safari Van on my way to do some fix ups for a senior citizen friend. Just glot a glimps as i was turning off the road. Had I been in my Hudson, I'm sure the driver would have seen me. Perhaps, next time? I do drive mine a few times a week. Now that it's sorted out..!:)

Bob, Hope to see you at Kissimmee. There is a gorgeous 51 Hornet Convt. in your neighborhood. Light metallic blue. Belongs to Joan and Tom Fink. I would really be surprised if they were not at Olde Towne. Look for my primer spotted two tone green 49 Four door.:)

It's possible that the Hudson you saw belongs to Dave Wadell. he is listed as owning a 1949 Super Six and lives very lose to Aurara Rd. He is listed in the National directory. I asssume he is the son of Hal and Betty Wadel theat als live near-by in West Melbourne.. Hal is past National Club President, 1990-92.

Nick, Up until Thurdsay, I wuz the only Green Hudson driver in town. But now I have competition!. I just hope he is a Hudson Mechanic. I can't bear to think i have another one to maintain. LOL:eek:
  • SuperDave,
I went over to Kissimmee Saturday night, but didn't see more than a couple of old cars. Where does everyone hang out? I started to go back into the back of Old Town, but I was in my Dually and traffic was really tight in there. I got out before I got bumped into. I will come back in a smaller car if that is where everyone goes.
