Does anyone remake or have available a firewall ID tage for a 1930 hudson coach? My car didnt come with one, I have a serial number for the car, it was in a newpaper article, but the tag was removed before I got the car.

Yes, K-Gap does, they are now also online! You VIN is probably on the fram in more than one place. On my '36 it is on the frame in 2 places and also on the front axle.
  • I looked at K-Gap, they didnt have the tag listed for anything older than 1933. But I will check with them and see if they can help, I cant look at my frame now to see if I can fnd the VIN, could you let me know where abouts to look? My frame is completely dissassembled so once I get it out it should be a fairly easy inspection, my father tried to find one on it before he gave it to me but was unable to find anything. Thanks for the response Kyle

I found them at Hershey and they had a data tag for my Essex. To put your ID number on the tag, take it to a bowling trophy business and they should be able to do the engraving it using a plain script at a reasonable price.

Good Luck, let me know how you make out.

On my '36T, the VIN is stamped into the frame just about where the passenger front door is and also across the back frame member below the trunk and also on the front axle.
