Need help picking 36 rear view mirrors

I have a 36 Terraplane that has the roll down vent window. It creates a problem in picking a mirror that the vent window won't interfere with. Can anyone tell me the location and style of mirror that works and length the arm is. If you have a picture and supplier that would really help.

Thanks.

  • Mine has the peep mirrors, Scott. They work pretty good. I don't have detail pictures, but I think you can get the idea. If you need more detail, PM me and I'll try to help you...slim

  • Thanks denverslim, The vent window doesn't interfere with them?

Can you see out of the passenger-side mirror?,the one on my 51 is almost useless.

    Thanks for the pictures.
  • No wing window interferrence, Scott.

I guess the funtionablity is in the eye of the beholder. I feel they work as well as any...slim
  • Thanks for the info. Can't quite tell from the pictures, are the arms curved or straight?

    Thanks,

    Scott
  • They are straight, Scott.

Ran out into the cold, cold garage and took a pic.

  • Talk about above and beyond the call of duty! Thanks for the picture, now I can go shopping. It is going to get cold here tonight and by Friday, below zero.

I hate to rub it in, but is was 85* degrees here is Escondido, CA yesterday. We all went to the beach!
  • That's just not right.

It's just hovering above the 100 degree make here in Sydney Down Under and has been that way for three days.
  • I have been scouring the Internet for peep mirrors that have an arm shaped like the ones you send in the last picture. I can't seen to locate any. If anyone knows where I can purchase one, I would appreciate it. If it is someplace warm, I might pick them up myself. 5 inches of snow last night and 5 degrees out.
