202 engine parts and parts list needed

i am hoping to find a part list for the 202cci L6 super six for the internal and external engine part numbers used by hudson . i would be gratefull to purchase a copy from some one if they should be so inclined to be kind to sell one

i am hoping to use the info when i talk to people about locating some parts i need for my project mainly i need oversize bottom end bearings + .020" for the mains and + .010" for the rods . i also need valve lifters and timing gears. oil pump and the rest of the usual parts you want to have a tight engine . best regards g hoefs

    If you are a member of the HET club, you can buy a 1948 - 1954 Master Parts Catalog, which covers Jet engine parts, from the club store.

    thanks to all for the replies so far it seems dale cooper only has a few of the things needed for the rebuild on the 202 from 53 and up they did not make too many of these he says you have to really look around dale only has standard size bottom end bearings and no nos crank shafts or camshaft to go with the bearings any thing + 20 or over is what i need to locate . its gonna take someone who has a dusty box on thier garage shelf some place finding them . best regards g hoefs

    I have a 53 Hudson Superjet, which I rebuilt the engine back in 93 or so. I got alot of the parts from Clifford Performance, in Corona, Ca. Egge supplied the pistons, that were used in Hudson straight eights too. You may want to try those people first. You may have to find another crankshaft, but as I recall I used .010 under rod and mains on mine, so Clifford may have them. Not cheap though.

    I think you can possible get the rod bearings,but not the mains. You should consider having the crankshaft welded and cut back to standard and then you won't be sitting around watching the grass grow around it. You need to mic the crank to see what the actual wear is.

    You might contact Bill Albright in Fontana, CA or Al Saffrahn in AZ, both members of HET club. They both have engine parts.

    I called Bill Albright today about the same parts, no luck. But Egge may have some oversize main bearings. Dale Cooper has main and rod bearings, but only std size, I think.

    Not much luck finding Jet parts.

    I just had my Jet crank built up and ground to standard. Headley Bennet in Canada had the work done for me. You can find him in the roster. I got some parts from him, and others from Egge. Ed Souers

    You need to make sure that you are working on a "202" and not a "212". These engines are of 2 diffrent designs. Do you have any pictures?.

    gustavoh - You might try Northwestern Auto Parts in Grand Rapids MI., 1101 S Division St - Phone (616) 241-5611 I've been able to pickup some items from them when no one else around seemed to have what I needed. I'm checking my files to for some other possibilities for you too - more later

    Also try Lester Harris, a long time Hudson, Packard and Nash owner, at (775) 267-2559, who has many engine and chassis parts. Lester has two warehouses full of parts! Lester has no computer.

    thank you all for the help thus far as far as the id on the motor goes is the 202 head interchangeable with the 212 ?

    what i am going by to id the motor is that the aluminum head says 202 super six and ive got the dual carter wa-1 we series 2103s carbs machine shop says 4.75 stroke and basic 3 " bore . should i be looking at other features or identifying marks i havent tried finding the #`s on the motor yet as it is not in my hands at the moment it is at fowler engines in columbus oh.

    as a ps for those interested i inherited my hudson from my friend who was a father to me he registered the title within a couple of days of my actual birthday in 1956 he used the truck for work for 7-8 years and it had been stting in his garage with the last license plate dated 1963 i am really a motorcycle guy not so much a car or truck person as they are large and i dont have alot of space . i like indian motocycles and have built several over the years . my hudson is special to me because of my friend & ive always liked AMC and rambler and hudson is the grandparent so like that
