What ever happened to the B&M "Hydro-Stick" Company. They were the big deal back in the fifties. I believe they were in California. They made several versions of the Hydra-Maic transmission for street and strip. I had one in a 51 Olds. I think it had a stall speed at 3K or more. Rough as a cobb. Also rough on rear tires with a youngster at the wheel.0

B&M is still in business. They make shifters. There is probably not near enough demand for them to build beefed-up hydramatics anymore.0

The quickest way is to stretch the pressure spring to increase oil pressure, but unless you are planning on using it for racing only, You will be sorry. Shifts hard and can tear up old equipment. Another BIG problem with these trans. is that low gear is allfull low for a Hudson off the line. Not enough RPM'S.0
