1950 Com 6 CV sold at Scottsdale 1-18-09 Cheap?
Does anyone out there know this car-- reputedly a Steve McQueen owned car?
Seems like it went cheap at $42,900. Maybe problems you know about. It has been offered to me and I am interested in whatever anyone knows of this example.
Thanks for the help
Cheers,
Ivan

With any luck Bill Albright will jump in to the discussion, as he sold one (or more) cars to McQueen, I believe...0

Its a California car, so it would be pretty easy to track owners if the registration has been maintained. I am sure that fact has been check if RM was the seller. You can contact the CA DMV and request a title search. It costs about $50 and takes about 6 weeks. Unless you know someone at the DMV that will read it right off the computer screen.....but they don't offer that service to the public. :rolleyes:0
