Please identify year of this horn ring

Last year I got this ring mixed some up with parts that needed to get plated for my 49. It looks VERY close what mine is, but does not fit as it is slightly different in the center. Anyway, it is freshly plated and I have no use for it. Going to throw in on Ebay if someone can tell me what years it will fit.

    It appears to me to be for a 1941, 1946 or 1947 Commodore Wheel

    This is 48-early 49. They changed them sometime in '49 but I don't know when. Maybe Nick S. has a better idea,but definately not '47 or earlier.

    Yep not a '47 for sure I can vouch for that. '48-'49 the more likely date.

    How about early 48 only (the 41-47 style wheels). The mid 48 and 49 is definitely different as they pin to a bracket.
