Nice Blog on the Essex
Kit Foster's automotive blog contains a nice writeup on the Essex this week, in an article called "Hudson's Companion". See http://www.kitfoster.com/
(This is as of March 25; in future weeks you'll have to click the "Hudson's Companion" link at right, to read the article, as newer articles replace the Essex one.) Thanks to DeSoto enthusiast Randy Poole for bringing this to my attention!

The one thing I like about Kit's writtings is his accuracy.
I have a copy of the October 2008 Collectible Automobile, given to me by the late Cloyd Steiner, which contains Kit's article on the 1930-1933 Hudson Eights. It is an excellent piece of work with much interesting detail - I'm not that much of a Hudson historian, but what little research I've done shows me Kit was right on the money with his facts and observations in this 1930-1933 article.
