  • Mine is a craftsman ... but it works just fine.
  • Well, I finally own a set. All I need now is the manifolds, carbs and linkage:

I bailed on the bidding at around $60.....
  • I'll get the part number for those filters tomorrow. I know they are available at any Carquest.

I don't know why you guys don't like that battery holdown... doesn't everyone use a bungee?

I have the stock one, just that I need to ante up and buy a battery that fits it proper.

    H K,

Did you happen to get those filter part numbers for us?
  • OK Twin H experts. I received my oil bath Twin H air cleaners today. How are they supported on the drivers side? Is ther a bracket from the cylinder head, or off of the throttle linkage bracket? Any info and/or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

One of the brackets is part of the linkage, and the other one is a bent piece of metal held onto the head by one of the headbolts. I am at work right now, but maybe somebody else can post a picture.

One of the supports is part of the linkage as shown in this picture

Look close at this picture and the other "loose bracket" is shown mounted under one of the head bolts

Same brackets used for the oil bath types.

    Cheers from HOT ;)
  • Thanks Ken!
  • Got the air cleaners body worked, primed and painted today. Does anyone make the air cleaner instruction decals that are located on the top of the drivers side? I know Bill A and K-gap have the Twin H decals.

    Nice work!!!!
  • Now that's a Doc Hudson- nice! Not sure if K-gap has the air filter instructions you are looking for, but their water transfer Twin-H look the best Vs peel and stick decals.

    Thanks Lance,

Naw, I can barely find enough energy to finish my own stuff! LOL
  • Try Large Paul in PA... I believe he makes a variety of decals, and stick on labels for HET products.
