Wow, what a great Western Regional! If you didn't come, you really missed out. Great cars, great sights, great weather, and most of all - great people! Here are some shots of what you missed...

  • Here are some shots from inside Yosemite. The car is Bob and Susan Ross's fantastic '54 Hornet. Thank you Bob and Susan for the wonderful tour of Yosemite.
  • More Hudsons...
We had a great turn out - this is the first time I've ever seen standing room only for the regional business meeting. It was amazing how many Arizona folks made it to this regional - that's a long drive!
  • Lots of parts, fun, friends, and lies being told in the swap meet area. It was great meeting lots of Hudson folks, and it's always nice to see old friends. Thank you to everyone for your friendship.
  • There were popular tech sessions planned, one with VicTor Z demontrating window channel installation, and another with Walt demonstrating dual carb balancing (on Quentin's beautiful Hornet coupe)
  • And there was an unplanned tech session on replacing a busted wheel bearing. (The local parts store had it in stock!) At least Rob won the hard luck award this year!
  • Walt's Hornet on it's way home.

It was nice to meet you also. Too bad you couldn't stay on Saturday. I suggested to Rob that the less mechanically inclined (like Quentin and I) should be given first shot at replacing his wheel bearing and then the pros could come in and clean up our mess. It would have been good entertainment for the masses.

I can't wait to go on excursions like this! Although the wheel bearing incident is unfortunate, I'm glad it turned out well for all. Whose blue Super Jet in the second photo?

Hello Sarah, Matt (Jet Owner) might of spoke with the lady that owns the jet. There was a fellow there that had jet parts, skirts, conti. kit and some trim parts.
  • Owner of the Jet is Brenda, John Cook's daughter. John is in the roster. I don't think that Brenda is registered. She just got this car running the week before the meet. Rich Smithen

Very nice photos! Though, I didn't see any of your Jet. Did you take it? Also, missing were pictures of my great niece looking at those fantastic cars. I have made it to one Hudson meet so far this spring. Jim and Sandy Boyle from Berkeley Springs, WV held a great get together on April 26th. Didn't take the camera so no pictures. Uncle Bill
  • Sheree had a big work meeting that weekend, so they stayed home. I took a brand X to Yosemite; I need to wire a headlight relay into the Jet before I do anymore long distance night driving. It's quite a thrill to have the lights go out unexpectedly on a lonely stretch of road!
