Antenna ?

My 52 hornet has two antennas? One inbetween the windshields and one on the right front fender .Great radio reception or a replacement fender or who knows what comming down the assem. line. Thanks John drivergo2

From what I know about Hudsons, I believe that one in your fender was an add-on by someone along the line. I think Hudson only had the roof mounted antenna. It pointed down if you didn't have a windshield visor, and up if you did.

It also pointed up if you wanted to listen to the radio. And the extenson pulled out.

I'd wager a guess that the original antenna doesn't work. I'm getting ready to reinstall my antenna above the windshield, but the wire's no longer connected. Does the antenna take a special wire? Or is there a generic one that will work?
