Still need a tank

Did anyone find a gas tank that will fit a 46 pick-up, while cleaning out the barn this spring? I'm still in need of one. Thanks.

Roger, there is a junkyard (been ther too long to be an automotive recycler)down toward you. I think the name is Philbates, it's in New Kent County. I have not been there yet, so I cannot tell you more.

Bill,
I've been there many times. George Philbates has a lot of interesting cars there on about 50 acres. My Son and I walk that yard every spring before the ticks come out, to see examples of makes and marks you only get to read about. Most of the really interesting ones have been there so long that I don't think they'd survive being (re) moved.
There are only two Hudsons on the place, both broughams; a '50 and (my dream car) a '52 Pacemaker. Both are REALLY rusty. I've been negotiating with George for the 52 for about 2 years, but he wants more than I'm willing to give, considering its condition. I've got a picture of it somewhere if anybody's interested.
-but I still need a tank for my pickup.
