Underhood Markings Reference Question

I was cruising some older pictures on the website and ran across this one of the underside of the hood with some writing on it.

I'm just curious as to if these were some factory markings - I did see original chalk markings for the layout of the seats when doing the original teardown as well as markings on the front suspension parts that looked original as well (sorry no pics that I can find...yet...).
Of course this is now all gone on my car but if someone wanted to restore a car this information might be helpful (although not many people ever restore to that level...)
I have even noticed a new product at Eastwood Tools that is a Clear Rust Encapsulator...they claim you can spray it on a rusty part and retain the original factory markings as the rust turns back to an original color? Never used it - but I do like the Black Rust Encapsulator they sell...

Just for those interested, I was reviewing the pictures of the 50 last night and noticed this...
It's pretty obvious these were Factory markings as I now have seen and documented 2 unpainted (underneath) hoods with markings in the same location.
Might be something car restorers want to pick up on and make sure they include in their restorations.0
