Looking for info and photos of these English bodied Essex Terraplane Tourers called "Windoverette". Any info on specs, quantity made, and photo links. I know someone out there knows lots more than I do!

I Googled it (you may have, too) and found that the only reference to "Windoverette" was to a 1932 Terraplane that was on a Scandinavian Tour of the Railton Owner's Club. http://www.railton.org/downloads/JULY-AUGUST%202003-1.pdf .

Page 6. You may want to e-mail the ROC to ask who owns it.

I have attached a photo of the car on the Swedish rally, Geoff Moore's 32 ET Windoverette. Looking for any info this forum may turn up on others!

Well, Ed Moore has this '33 Terraplane, body by R.E.A.L., but right off the bat the cut at the top of the doors don't match (sorry Ed, snitched the photo from your website!).

The claim is that the radiator was two inches lower on the Windover bodied car--I guess it looks it. And the big Lucas head lights.

Ivan - there's one advertised for sale in the back of the latest ROC Bulletin. Owner has an e-mail address, perhaps he'd provide you with the info you seek.

Yes, I am aware of that won for sale and that is the reason I am seeking info.

AHA - I'd suggest you e-mail John Dyson who is sort of the historian for ROC. His e-mail address should be in the recently received ROC Roster.

He usually responds promptly & has been a member of HET too but not sure if he is now. You might use me as a reference as we've met & I visited his home so we know each other well & maintain constant e-mail contact.
