Hi everybody in hudsonland Finlly spring no more snow , Well I went to the

Red Deer Alberta Canada Swap meet I think largest in Alberta. I come across 2 lip laced whire wheels and maesured the bolt pattern 41/2 with 5 holes

but the guy selling them said they were off a 55 ford? He wanted 50.00 each

but being on a very strict budget because I am only working 4 days a week

I very sadly walked away and left them. One guy that looked at them said the holes looked like they had been run loose. I could'nt tell because of my

eyes.Would they have fit my 54 Hornet. but I still need 2 more. Ray:(:(

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure you made a good move to walk away. The center hole on the Ford wheels is usually too small for Hudsons.

I think the only 55 ford wirewheel is for the Thunderbird. I am fairly certain that the Thunderbird wheels only have the 5 bolt pattern, not the 10 of the Chrysler/Hudson required for the guide pin so they would be a different wheel and may exhibit the center hole issue that hudsonguy mentioned.

These 2 wire wheels did have the guide pin holes in the wheels that is why I was so interested. Thanks for your help. Ray:D

If that's true, then I might be remembering wrong, but that would mean they are NOT Ford.
