Is there a source for the Fram oil filter flex lines used on the 262/308's? Thanks!

You might try taking your old lines to a shop that makes up custom hydraulic lines and have a new set made. Often, tractor repair shops and shops that work on large trucks (semi's) can perform this service. In my case, a local machine shop was able to fabricate a set. They weren't identical to the originals (slightly larger diameter), but they work just fine.

I've also heard that the Tractor Supply stores might have what's needed, but I can't confirm this. Good Luck!

  • You might also want to try using fuel line material with the correct fittings. Bob's right about the local tractor supply houses being able to supply you with hydraulic lines but you just may want to try to fab some of these yourself out of fuel line material available from auto part stores.

This is a tip from a fellow Hudsonite that those flexible grease gun hoses available at Tractor Supply stores will work. A little long, but they're good for a lot more pressure than they'd see.
  • If the filter is on the block metal lines work. If it mounted on the inner fender Weatherhead has perfect lines in many lengths. Ask for Weatherhead at you local parts store.
