OK, I need some help. I have added photos to the ClassicCar photo gallery, and can't figure out how to get them to show up on a post here. Any advice for a computer idiot?

Thanks

Don

do I click on "copy to clipboard"? If so, then what do I do?

Go to photo and place your cursor over it.

    Right-click on mouse.

From the window that opens up, left-click on COPY IMAGE LOCATION.

Now, you're ready to post. Either open up a new thread (click the NEW THREAD BUTTON at upper left of the screen) or add your remarks to an existing thread (POST REPLY).

Look for the little yellow, square icon on the reply blank. Looks like a tiny stamped envelope (I haven't the foggiest idea what it's supposed to represent). Click on it. You get an image window.

Place cursor over the blue highlighted HTTP, right-click your mouse, and a small window opens. Choose PASTE on the small window, and left-click. This transfers the image location (which you copied a minute ago) to the "image" blank. Now click OK.

Then you can type your message above or below the image text that appears in the reply (or post new thread) window.

let's see if this works....I guess not.

"copy image location" was not an option for me to chose from. The best I was able to do was get a link to the picture, but not put the picture in the post.......remember, I am not a computer guy..

    I will keep trying

Try this right click on photo. At bottom of menu select "Properties". Copy the Address in this case "www.classiccar.com/photopost/data/500/medium/IMG_6003.JPG". Then select the "little yellow, square icon on the reply blank. Looks like a tiny stamped envelope". Next do a "Ctrl V". The address should appear next to "http://" Then click "Ok". That should do it.

On the classiccar photo page (where you originally posted these photos) you can click on one of your tiny pictures, enlarge it, and THEN take your URL off the enlarged photo, not the tiny one.

And thus, you can post a larger version (here), of the same photo.
