Sorry I was slow Brownie, the pictures you sent were great I got them lost in a spam email folder. I would upload them now but you beat me to it.
The easiest way to do it is upload to the photo gallery here on Classiccar.com then link to that picture. When done in this fashion the pictures are resized automatically.
My vote as far as finish work done on the dash. This is the way to go. Do not stress about, is it perfect or not, the original dash looks fantastic with a little character. The imperfections which are slight at best make it believable.
