Trixxy the woner Hudson

Hello every one it is nice to see you still going strong. I have been away for a little while while I rebuilt my first new engine (ouch). I had another local shop help me out with some fabrication and general maintanance but while they had her in thier shop they media blasted the oil pan and powder coated it. What happened next is trully awful, they pluged the pick up tube with glass bead shot and starved the bottom end of oil and took out the crank. I collected Trixxy and rebuilt her myself with the help of engine master Rick from HBR, here in Las Vegas 702-644-2220 and built what we belive to be a (Bullet Prof) engine. You can see the pictures in the Hudson section on my Pictures area. my question is when I look on the web I cannot find any other Hudson owners here in the Las Vegas area, are there any? If so let me know as I only moved here to the Las Vegas area 18 months ago and have not seen any driving around. If you are in the Las Vegas area I am located @ 4020 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas NV 89121. Arlen Ness Las Vegas 702-440-6377 and I am Bill Biler.

    Hi Bill,

You probably don't remember my visit to your great looking Arlen Ness showroom where we discussed your Hornet and Wasp...In fact I had the pleasure of visiting your Hornet at a shop located aound Speedway area who was doing some work for you. Your car looked great then and I now see you even improved upon excellence. I'll give you a call this week and hopefully your Hornet will be available to see again, also hope you in good health and business is in this downtrend market is doing as well as possible.

    Hello Bill,

Darn, bad news about the engine setback - my grandpa always told me sometimes if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself!

I was wondering if you think the with extra torque/hp of this engine setup - if the front rubber engine mounts will hold or do you have an additional tie down located elsewhere?

  • Good question, I am not sure but I will find out very soon. It goes to the Tuner in the AM and after he gets it just right on the pipe I will have a few miles to put on it and see if one of them lets go. If it does I will make them out of neoprene. Good to see you again, Bill.
