That was terrible! I couldn't understand a single word they said!:D
  • I watch that show all the time when I am in Brazil. The interviewer talked about the quality build of the car and how well restored it was. In driving it he talked about how smooth it shifted and steered. They laughed at how complicated the clutch looked. Good stuff I knew of this car in Brazil have not met the guy who owns it yet. Have seen a few 46 and 47 cars another guy I met through my website has 16 Hudsons and lives in Brazil I am meeting him the next time I fly in.

You must Habla Espanol because I sure as H3LL didn't understand a word they said. Nice watching the video though.
  • They are speaking Portuguese.
  • Spanish and Portuguese are not interchangeable either... I lived in the Azores for three years ( Portuguese islands located in Atlantic) and my wife is fluent is spanish. Not interchangeable ... nor is the Italian I listened being spoken as a kid visiting my maternal Grandparents. Ah to have been more attentive as a kid...:(

Back when the fella who restored this car was trying to find parts he found my website and subsequently contacted me. After a bit of email traffic he was put in contact with folks who could provide the OEM Hudson parts needed. Press Kale was a central figure in helping find and get those parts to Brazil. At this time I do not remember the owners name ... need to look throught those older files.

Super nice car and one of a small population for 1954 models .

    Usted Habla Portugese?
  • Sean do a lot of Brazilians speak english?
  • In the general population no. In the business world I deal with most people speak English. When I travel to Brazil my trips are usually 3-6 weeks so over the years I have learnt enough Portuguese to move about pretty good.
