235 775r 15's

Harry, I tried them on my '54 sedan and they would rub slightly on a full range turn. The biggest problem I had was, that I had to let air out of the tires to get them under the rear fender, then air them back up. No rubbing in the rear. this was on stock rims.
I now run the 225R75x15s

Harry,
I run 235's on my '53 Super Wasp on 6" wide chrome reverse rims with baby moons. I think they are 70 series though. They don't rub at all, but you do have to jack the rear up real high to get the rears on. I figure I would just call road side assiatance if I got a flat on a rear tire. I'll check the aspect ratio when I get home.

Harry,
I double checked the tire size. I am running P235/70R15 tires on 6" wide rims on my Super Wasp. I used the American Racing Chrome reverse wheels with baby moons on mine since they were cheap. They're both 4 1/2 " and 4 3/4" holes so you dont't need to drill out for the locating pin as it fits into one of the lug holes on the 4 3/4" pattern. I got them through summit racing. I don't believe the stock rims would work on a tire that wide.

Can you give us the approximate price per rim? Thanks, Bob0
