2009 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance
Was invited to show my 49 Comm Conv Bro at the Greenwich Concours last week. Having never been, I have to admit it was a bit intimidating at first as there were some pretty serious cars there, most of which were professionally restored by some heavy hitters with deep pockets. In any case, it was a great time and an incredibly well organized charity event. Bonhams had an auction and there was a very cool 1912 Hudson Model 33 ‘Mile-A-Minute’ Roadster there, which ended up selling for over $100K (with fees). I have to say it was my favorite car they had there. I took a few shots, which did not come out too great, but you get the idea. All in all it was a great day. Weather held out, my car won "most outstanding open car 1947-1953, which felt pretty darn good considering what we were up against. Anyway, see the pics below. Car next to mine was a 53 Buick Skylark Convertible.

Great recognition for all the hard work you put into your car! Congradulations Dennis.0 -
Congradulations Dennis another win over the 53 Buick Skylark Convertable .
The owner of the Buick I'm sure was pissed again. A $200,000 + restoration
loses to a home restoration. I love it!0 -
Dennis,
You shouldn't have been the least intimidated. After all, your car looks great and has something that the others can't match, the Hudson name. Congrats!0 -
Congradulations Dennis. You have a beautiful Hudson convertable. What an honor to win a Concours. Job well done. You must be on cloud nine. Enjoy it. Lee0

Sure a beautiful car!
The '12 was at the National Meet in Pontiac.0
