What have you guys used to replace the firewall insulation? Did you just remove the old one and use it as a pattern or is there someone that makes these? Niels

    Niels-

Don't know of anyone making one that's cut to fit. I'd simply get some good 1/2" car insulation and make your own. If you don't have a pattern, make your own pattern out of cardboard or 1/8" Luan (cheap plywood), or some similar material that has a little body to it. I plan on making mine.
  • There is a source for reproductions.

You've got to do a little searching on their site, but I did come up with a part # for Quiet Ride Solutions:

    HUD 5154-C

That is a firewall panel for a stepdown (only Hudson part listed). If you want a floor kit, they don't make it (yet), but you can order generic sized sheets and cut yourself.

$167..... I'd just make them. You can get materials at a good upholstery supply house. It's not a complex piece and mostly flat on 124" WB stepdowns.
